Carmen Bekker is one of Australia’s leading marketing minds and a partner with KPMG’s Consumer, Brand & Marketing Advisory.

A global leader who has held senior industry roles in London, Europe and Australia, Carmen has more than 20 years’ experience. She has developed transformational strategy and campaigns for leading international brands such as Procter & Gamble, Toyota, Visa, Unilever, Nestle, Debenhams and Qatar Airways.

Before joining KPMG in November 2017, Carmen was Managing Partner and European Marketing Director for flagship WPP agency, J Walter Thomson London, managing a team of over 400 people. She has also held Business Director roles at Saatchi & Saatchi in London and Sydney.

Having spent over a decade working overseas, Carmen brings a fresh perspective how brands market themselves in Australia. At KPMG Australia she plays a leading role in the firm’s Customer, Brand and Marketing Advisory, supporting clients on brand strategy, consumer insight, the media value chain, marketing integration, speed of change and new technologies, creating meaningful customer influence and marketing spend accountability.

A regular speaker at industry forums and events, Carmen is also passionate about championing diversity in Australian media and marketing, and closing representation gaps in the sector.
